The drive is perfectly recognised by the laptop, with transfers of up to 50MB/s (with compressed ntfs). I've had slower USB 3 drives... The only problem is that it gets quite hot.

After several weeks of use, the only small fault of this key, and it's a small one ^^, is its size, which means you can easily look for it anywhere in the office. So it's best to leave it at home as external storage.

Small, stylish USB key for storing music in the car. It's practical because it protrudes very little from the USB port.
Fast write speed as advertised.
You completely forget you're holding it. It's tough (it's been dropped several times and the cover has to be carried), reliable (it's beautifully built, simple and effective) and ergonomic (it's great for large palms). A tower computer like a laptop, but mainly for office use and at home (quite bulky). Top value for money!
I use this hard drive to back up all my personal data and I think it's great value for money...I really recommend this product!
Watch out for the size, which is really, really tiny. I recommend attaching a thread to the end to find it easily, but even that's difficult, as the notch was extremely small too.
Otherwise, performance is normal, but it also heats up quite a bit, so if you're transferring a lot of files, it'll end up slowing down.
Small key ideal for car radios.
The read/write speeds are perfect.
Mr Sandisk should provide a cap for his keys to prevent dirt from getting in.
Slight negative point: I find it gets very hot after long minutes of writing.

A really small and light USB stick. Very practical as the stick hardly takes up any space when plugged in. In fact, only its mini "fin" in the form of a ring (to be able to hang it up) makes it possible to unplug. A good value for money for someone looking for a simple and space saving storage.
I already have a cruzer fit with the same capacity, but USB2, which has given me complete satisfaction for a few years.
I wanted to switch to USB3 to speed up transfers.
I'm not disappointed with the speed:
- 50-58 mb/s writing speed for large files
- average of 13 mo/s to transfer 1,600 files of 1.62 GB in total. (in about 2 minutes)
This is really much faster than with the USB2 version.
The only downside is that the drive is now made entirely of very low quality plastic!
Disappointing from Sandisk !
I advise you to plug and unplug it as little as possible and not to use it with keys.
I'm going to use it as backup storage on a small laptop with a non-removable eMMC.
It will therefore remain permanently on a USB.
The main points to remember here are, its slow (~ 15MB/s write is you get and ~ 70MB/s read) and it gets unnaturally hot in USB 3. it does however provide a large storage footprint, but the flimsy plastic build quality tells me this thing won't last long...

As it is "ultra fit" nothing sticks out and therefore nothing snags ;-)
Perfect physical format to remain permanently in the USB port, the key protrudes very little.
Satisfactory speed to make it a boot drive
64GB volume sufficient to install a live boot persistent Ubuntu and to store data on it (made with mkusb with default settings).
The notch in the key allows you to grab it and hang a small coloured ribbon to differentiate it when like me you have several.
Be careful, this key is made of plastic, you will not be able to put it on your key ring without it being broken after a week.
Quick access to data, it's like being on a HDD. Very small (too small?), you have to be careful not to lose it.
Apart from that, it does the job.

So for me the write rate is as advertised.
There is no cap or LED on this drive to indicate that writing is in progress, which is not a problem for me, but I might as well mention it.
This drive is really tiny. I bought it as a bootable drive for a raspberry pi 3 model B+. It doesn't stick out much, so it doesn't get in the way if you want to connect other things to the other 3 remaining USB ports.
Very good product, very discreet and conforms to the request but I regret the lack of protection (cap) and attachment for transport (small cable...).
The object is small and can be easily lost...

Like all SanDisk drives it should be reliable.
Product corresponds to its description. Small, light, discreet. Nice design. Seems reliable. Remains to be seen in the long term.
