Equipped on a 680X, it allows to control the speed of 8 fans with ICUE. Makes cable management easy. Imperative if you have a lot of fans like me. Otherwise you risk having a configuration that makes too much noise. Unfortunately, this is an additional cost...
Installed for a configuration with 6 LL120 fans and 4 rgb led bars from Corsair, it is really easy to use with a possibility of endless customization

Indeed, the fans are provided with two plugs, one PWM and one ARGB, the PWM plugged on the Corsair Link and the ARGB plugged on the Corsair Commander.
Used to drive Corsair ML PRO fans, the PRO controller manages RPM, RGB and has temperature sensors - an expensive but complete product.
Use via Corsair iCUE software to create fan and colour profiles.

Works very well with Corsair LINK.
Please do not install the crap alternative product Corsair iCUE. Otherwise you will not have any fine control over the speed curves (RPM) per fan. Only the choice: Quiet - Balanced - Performance.
In short, good product, beware of the software.
So I am very impressed with the possibilities that this little box offers.
I have connected 6 HD fans (4 HD120, 2 HD140).
Regarding the fan management :
+ Customization pushed to the extreme, you can choose the speed of the fans depending on what you want etc...
+ I was very pleasantly surprised, I had fun making a profile to put all the fans at 100% all the time, so I can tell you that it makes a mess in terms of noise.
+ The silent mode is VERY quiet, I can even hear my HDD (which makes almost no noise).
No negative points in this respect.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the RGB management of the fans and LEDs:
+ I'm not sure what to say about RGB, it's really about customizing the case so I'm not sure what to say.
I can't think of anything more to say about RGB, it's really for case customisation so...
- The BIG negative point of all this CORSAIR stuff is the lack of guide, I had to do a lot of research to understand what I had to buy to be able to control my LEDs in addition to the RPM (I have the lighting node PRO, the CORSAIR controller, all connected to the CORSAIR COMMANDER PRO, that's a LOT and nothing is explained).
- Also, to fully control your fans from top to bottom, you'll have to spend way too much money (e.g. me: 6 fans, 4 LED strips, the lighting node, the controller + the commander = ~300€). Let's just say that if you like it, you don't count? and they know it perfectly.
- Last negative point, be sure to have 3 power slots via internal SATA, each case MUST be powered by a SATA cable. WHEN WILL WE SEE A 3 IN 1 BOX!!!???
I put 5 stars because the commander pro deserves them, but you understood, I think, that we are still a little taken for pigeon.
The Corsair Commander Pro is a real gem! To centralize all that concerns Leds and Fans it is the top!
I advise you to use the Corsair Link software to get 100% of its capacity!
PS: sold with 4 thermistors, don't buy them like me elsewhere!
This case is perfect if you need extra fan plugs because you don't have any on your motherboard and be careful if you have Corsair LL120 fans for example you will need the Corsair Node which is delivered in the 3 fan pack (the one with 6 x 4 pin plugs for RGB) but works very well on this model (it has 1 fan plug and 1 RGB plug) and the Commander pro is very bulky I have it behind the tray of my motherboard and we will appreciate the probes that are delivered with it :)
This box allows you to connect 6 fans, 4 thermal probes, 2 sets of 4 LED strips and two USB watercooling devices.
It connects to an internal USB 2.0 port and you will need an available SATA power supply to power it.
All that's left to do is install the Corsair Link software for settings and temperature information and you'll have everything you need to turn your tower into a modern work of art.
The product itself is great, it can control everything but to my great surprise it is incompatible with the Corsair LL series fans, especially since on the Corsair Link you can find them without any worries, so it is of no use to me. I just think it's a shame that on the Corsair website this is not indicated or even on your website. It's a good thing I'm not a fan of this product.
I am very pleased with the product and the way it has arrived in 7 days. It is a great product and with the Corsair Link software you can set up all the HD 120's. You can choose several colour effects and even speed up the fans.
I've been using the corsair link software for a while now and it's really perfect, but it's a big box. I connected a hydro h115i 4 ll140 rgb two cooler master fans from my cosmos c700p from the dominator ram everything is recognized and perfectly managed. I'm not sure if it's the right one for me.

installed in my corsair crystal 570x with 6 corsair sp120 rgb, everything is perfect, the modes are excellent and the connections are very simple. the management of the fans is done via the corsair link software. this frees all the fan plugs of my motherboard. i was able to switch my aio to push pull and install 8 fans in my tower. everything is silent once well calibrated, it's perfect!
I'm very happy with this product.
It is a control centre to be integrated in your PC to control the cooling, the backlighting or to monitor the temperatures. I'm very pleased with the product and the delivery.
