Mini power supply for my Corsair 2000D, just what I need in the box, nothing to report.
Mini power supply for my Corsair 2000D, just what I need in the box, nothing to report.
Smooth installation. Top quality. Like all Corsair power supplies I've had. To be seen over time though.
I've been using Corsair PSUs in my PCs for years, and I've never had a problem. This one is compact and quiet.
Everything you'd expect from a power supply, but in a small, easy-to-install format, complete with all the necessary cables.
It's a modular power supply, so it's hard to argue with the pros and cons. The only negative point for me is that the cables supplied with it are not flexible, and imposing a direction on them is complex.
Everything small is cute and powerful! The huge packaging may make you doubt the size of the power supply, don't be shocked! :)
the + : totally modular, more than enough power for new generation GPUs, cables long enough for most configurations.
the -s : a slight lack of flexibility in the cables which makes the "cable management" a bit more difficult in the SFFC (small form factor case ITX).
I recommend it.
Great product (stable, quiet, all mini, all cute ^^ )... too bad, I thought it was sold with an ATX -> SFX reduction plate. I must have confused it with another brand.

(Custom case, origin: Bitfenix Prodigy M)
This small power supply is capable of delivering 600w and powering an i7 8700k processor as well as a GTX 1080ti, SSD, LEDs, and fans via an Asus ROG Strix Z-370-i card. And all this in absolute silence, what more could you ask for.
Good alim overall (we'll see in the long term) it's my second Corsair after an AX 750 which will soon celebrate its 6th birthday.
The ventilation is silent, it is appreciable!
The only drawback is that in my case, in a 2-stage case, it was necessary to buy an extension of the ATX power supply cable because the original one is really too short.
Compared to the Silverstone, it's night and day. It is perfectly silent in the rv z02. The only complaint is the stiffness of the cables which makes installation in a small box quite difficult.
This power supply was bought to fit into a mini itx core v1 case with a pp08 adapter.
It is totally modular which is a plus for an itx mount, weighs much less than an atx, another positive point.
I have to send it to Corsair for service, which will be long and tedious and I won't have a PC for 2 weeks. I'm going to have to send it to the corsair after sales service, which is going to be long and tedious and I won't have a PC for 2 weeks.
Very quiet power supply, only triggering its fan if it gets very hot (often off when the load is low).
It is in SFX format, so it is relatively small, and you should also have an adapter plate for cases that are only compatible with ATX format power supplies.
The only negative point is that the 24-pin power cable is too short (30 cm) and very rigid. I had a power supply mounted in an IN WIN 805C case and plugged into an MSI Z170A Pro Gaming Carbon, but it was missing between 5 and 7 cm to reach the 24 pins port of the motherboard. I had to use a 15 cm extension cable.
super quiet power supply (except for the little click on/off).
It's also a great way to power large graphics cards without any problems.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a flat cable or not, but it can be a pain when you don't have a lot of space (like fractal design node 202). you have to think about the twist and turn you're going to apply to it.
The power supply is really well finished, quiet and has power to spare, but there is no ATX>SFX adapter plate and the cables, despite being "flat", are borderline rigid in my case in a really cramped case.
It is especially the rigidity of the cables that make me give it only 4 stars out of 5, apart from that I warmly recommend it!
Corsair has prepared a very good power supply and the cables are of very good quality. The fan is quiet. The whole thing fits in my Lian li tu100 case (4790K + GTX 670). If you are going for a small configuration like mine. Don't make the same mistake as I did and choose the 450W (from Corsair of course) instead.
Frankly, I am very pleasantly surprised by this power supply.
It is indeed very quiet, and compared to the SFX size I find it quite impressive.
But what I don't like about it is the quality of the cables:
- The cables are of poor quality, and some of them were not long enough for my Silverstone ML08 mini-itx box, A MISTAKE.
This power supply has replaced a silverstone SX500-LG and it is really quieter than the latter.
Contrary to what is advertised, the fan runs at a very low speed when the PC is not under load (well under 200W). Nevertheless the fan is inaudible.
Under load, I can't distinguish any specific noise from the power supply, it is covered by the noise of the graphics card.
It emits a very light coil-whine. You can't hear it when you are more than 20 cm away from the PSU.
The cables are really stiff and not very long but I had no problems installing it in my case (ncase M1).
In conclusion, this is certainly the best SFX power supply to date and I am really satisfied with this change of power supply. The price is a bit high compared to the atx power supplies.
