Allows you to easily store several cables (in my case 2HDMI, 1 screen power supply + 2 usb cables). Very easy to install. Modular: just cut it out. You can take out small cables in the middle of the sleeve if needed...
The duct length is long enough for an office installation. The duct is easy to cut.
I could have put 10, but -1 (9) as it is important not to try to put too much in: if it says 20mm maximum, it is safer to count less (e.g. 18mm and under) to keep a good wrap.
The dimensions given are a hair over the correct section. Just be aware of this.
Storage sleeve used to store the various cables for my TV.
The pluses:
- Everything is clean once installed
- The tool allows you to slide the cables in (very) easily, then you have to arrange them as you like by hand.
- I was able to run the equivalent of 4 HDMI cables through it, and there's room for a 5th one easily.
- Very good quality, you can take the cables out and put them back in several times without the sheath getting bent.
The cons:
- Expensive for what it is
I took it to hide the big pile of cables under my desk (several power cables, mouse, keyboard, speaker, RJ45, ...)
I like the final result, only one big black cable and that's it.
Icing on the cake, it is possible to make a cable in the middle, practical if the cables of peripherals are too short.
The little plastic thing is only useful if you start from the end of the sheath, to add an extra cable, use your fingers instead (even if it can be painful).
Perfect for protecting cables from my rabbit ;) Easy to put on any kind of cables even without the tool provided.
I recommend it if like me you have to protect your whole installation from animals or even if you just want to keep everything tidy ;)
Running cables through it is a bit tricky if you want to run cables into the middle of the duct, but once done, you don't touch it anymore and it's clean. The only thing missing is 1 or 2 clips to fix the duct behind a desk (not being glued to a wall, the duct hangs behind).
Fulfils the need to tidy up and protect cables from nibbling cats... All is clean and tidy on the desk. Very practical and easy to use, and not expensive, I recommend them.
The result is perfect, very clean. It's really easy to install thanks to the little plastic tool that comes with it, which is quite (or even very) fragile and which I managed to unbolt after a few manipulations. No problem with the sheath. I recommend it!
Use to clean up my cables that are all over the place behind the desk, very practical and easy to use.
However the tool provided to place the cables more easily in the sheath is quite "cheap" and breaks easily apparently so be careful with its use.
