I took this cable to connect my laptop to my 144Hz mini DisplayPort monitor to get 120Hz minimum, it works perfectly.
Beware that the mini displayport will not give more than 120Hz.

I bought this cable to free up an HDMI socket on my 4k monitor and plugged it in with an apple mini.
The image is perfect, very good definition and readability.
The standard cable indicates that pin 20 is not connected. This is because pin 20 "DPDP_PWR" is used for special purposes, such as powering a mini device (like a repeater or converter) through a special minidisplay cable. When a cable is used to connect a display directly to a graphics card, the DisplayPort specification states that the cable should not connect the power line, and the power of two devices should not be connected to each other via the cable.
But sometimes you can find "faulty" cables that may be marked or sold as "DisplayPort certified" and contain the DisplayPort logo where the two pins 20 are connected.
The cable had the pin 20s connected...luckily I couldn't boot my PC so I realised this directly by removing the plug, thus avoiding any hardware damage.
Very well made product and you can feel it in the quality of the image on a 4K screen. It plays its role royally. The quality and finish are excellent. It's better than my gold plated HDMI cable. A bit expensive but quality is priceless. I recommend it.
The cable corresponds to the description, fulfils its role perfectly, flexible there is no problem of false contact, it allows me to convey the image and sound (yes yes) on my magnificent curved screen in 144hz without problem.
It's a real pleasure to use. The LDLC service is always perfect, nothing to complain about for the moment. I'm not sure about the price, but I have the impression that for this type of cable there is not much choice.
No problems connecting my HTC to it and very good quality and speed of image! The packaging is a bit large for this small cable but it is well protected. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.

I had ordered this cable to connect my Vive to DP and remove the poor trueblack handling of HDMI.
But the cable doesn't work with the Vive, which uses it as a DP-> MiniDP cable, whereas most of the cables they sell us are ultimately unidirectional. The cables in this reference change all the time, so good luck.
