I bought this to upgrade my DELL XPS 15 type L501X laptop from 4GB to 8GB, but it turned out to be incompatible...
I bought two memory sticks to upgrade two Asus laptops (an X75 and an F751) that were 4GB. They were upgraded to 8GB. And everything is working. The support was immediate with the right frequencies despite the first "bars" that are integrated on the motherboard.

As I also had to replace the HDD and went from W8.1 to W10, it's hard to see a real performance gain, but I figured it couldn't hurt anyway.
