I opted for this model because of its low bracket, its brand and its wifi specifications.
When I unpacked it, I had to carefully remove two screws from the high bracket, remove the high bracket, position the low bracket, refasten the screws and insert the card into the SFF.
As most of the reviews were positive, I was tempted by this internal pci-express 1x card.
When the PC started up, it was directly recognised by Windows 10, so there was no need to install a driver.
If you decide to buy this internal wifi card, or any other device to be inserted into a PC, don't forget to discharge yourself of any static electricity so as not to damage the equipment.
I'm quite disappointed, nowhere on the product sheet does it say that the card only supports 2.4hz networks and not 5hz (faster speed). You have to buy an extra wifi adapter, which is great!

The wifi is extremely limited with this card (0.5mo/s at 5 meters from the router :/) and it disconnects in an untimely manner (even after having assembled all the fixes I could find). I had bought it so as not to have to install an internet cable or go broke with one of the 50/100€ network cards, but obviously it's not working. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new one, but it's a good idea to buy a new one, and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new one.
I've been using it for a while now and it works well, easy to assemble, cheap, so it's perfect. Clean package, fast, nothing else to say, thanks LDLC
The throughput is low and chaotic. From 2.5 MB/s to 200 kb/s at four metres from the router. This is not very good.
Sometimes it disconnects but not often.
Recognized by default under Linux. A good point. Inexpensive. To be reserved for modest use. Even the stream under twich is sometimes slow. I would have taken a more reputable one.
Very easy to install, no driver to install which allows direct use, practical when using an ethernet cable is not possible.
Works very well. Simple installation, which required a restart of the PC for the device to be properly taken into account by the OS.
Data rate of 2 to 10 Mbits vs. 80 to 100 Mbis for another computer next door, with a different Wifi card. I do not recommend it.
The N 150 mbits standard is usually sufficient for an ADSL/VDSL connection, no need to switch to N 300 mbits...

- The card is perfectly recognized with generic WIN10 drivers.
- Installation of the drivers without problems but no software other than the drivers on the CD.
- Mounting with the supplied low-profile bracket on an unused PCI 16X slot (the card only plugs into the first third of the slot)
For the price, nothing to say
It's the second one I've bought and for internet use (search, YouTube, etc.) it's perfect. Easy and quick installation. Sent in a bubble wrap by LDLC.

No disconnections so far, so I'm quite happy with the product.
No faults and with an attractive price, I don't see why I should take another Wi-Fi card than this one :)
At this price, this card does its job perfectly. I can't say anything about its maximum performance, my connection doesn't allow me to reach it, but the reception of the signa on the floor with box downstairs is correct. The ability to emit a Wi-Fi field can be useful to manage a local mini-network in a room, but is clearly not essential from my point of view.
Conclusion:
Perfect for standard office use, especially given the almost negligible price.
Poor reception quality, catastrophic increase in machine boot time (under Windows 7). No disconnections noted however (tested on a temporary machine, so did not have time to test on a very long term basis). It is not the best product in the TP-Link catalogue

I installed it 2 months ago in my new tower, it suits me perfectly!
It does its job perfectly, in terms of transfer speed and good network connection.
In short, I am very satisfied!

I have just put it on my pc it is easy to install
I've just put it on my PC and it's easy to install, but it doesn't pick up much WI-FI. I'm 6 meters from my box and it picks up 3 bars but it only delivers 100KB/s and that's not from my box because I can pick up with my laptop.
I had a WiFi card (Tenda TWL541P) that dated back to the glory days of Windows XP. Having switched to Windows 7, I had a bit of trouble finding drivers that could be used under Windows 7.
Microsoft having offered me to switch to Windows 10, I accepted and I switched to Windows 10 without uninstalling this card which worked well even under the first version of Windows 10. The second version (July 2016) was fatal: neither the new Windows 10 nor I could get it to start!
This card was immediately recognised and installed by Windows 10 without using the mini CD-ROM supplied.
Absolutely nothing to declare! Works perfectly well, W10 installed it by itself without any problems, during its own installation.
Conclusion: Excellent wifi card, very good price, good quality. To buy without hesitation
Placed in a 1x slot on my motherboard, installed the drivers, booted up, searched for a network, connected to the home network. Everything went smoothly, and the data rates are very satisfactory.
Very good connection, and very good ping with this card, and that's all you ask for. Affordable and efficient.
The antenna can be replaced by another standard antenna.

High performance wifi card for such a small price. Suits me perfectly when my PC cannot be connected to the Ethernet network. Very easy to install and immediately recognised. The addition of the supplied application is not necessary. Can even become intrusive.
For a wifi card inside an apartment, it's great. In general, a cheap wifi card is enough if you don't have 200 Mbits/s fibre
