I'm only giving 4 stars because I wasn't able to use the 2 memory sticks,
In fact, the PC that was intended for these memory sticks produces a blue screen (it had 2 x 1GB ram for the original pc2 5300).
At least if I put a 1gb ram + a 2gb ram, it works (and recognises the 3gb ram).
On the other hand, if I put in a single 2g ram or both 2g ram, I get a blue screen,
So I've left it with its original 2 ram (2 x 1g)
I have been ordering from ldlc for a long time now and I usually find what I am looking for in terms of IT.
The product is as described, the delivery is fast and careful, it works perfectly well, I recommend it.
After asking for advice from the technical department, I tried to add this SKILL strip to the one already in place (ELPIDA brand) on a LENOVO SL 500 laptop. With 4 GB of memory, my LINUXMINT 20 distribution works well without being at the memory limit. ( I had previously replaced the disk by a SSD to have a "normal" velocity )
I am very pleased with this product as it replaces a 1GB memory stick in a 2009 Netbook.
The memory was immediately recognized by the BIOS which allows me to better run Windows 10 and eventually Linux.
Upgrade of an old HP from 2009, from 1 to 4 Gb on a new install of Debian Stretch: fluidity and reactivity are there (1 Gb, it was still quite slow. For the speed, with an old celeron, you don't have to push it...).
So overall, I'm satisfied, and the result is as expected.

Upgrade to 2GB of a SAMSUNG NC10 (model NP-NC10-KA01FR late 2008, early 2009).
This G.Skill SODIMM 2GB DDR2 667 MHz 5-5-5-15 RAM is compatible with the NC10.
No hardware or system problems (XP).
I can't give an opinion on this strip except for its ease of installation, due to its non-compatibility with my laptop.
I've been using it for some time now and it's been a great help to me in getting it back.
The next step is to follow with the DDR!
Adding an extra 2GB to a 2008 SONY VAIO VGN-NS12M, the detection is immediate and increases the pc to 4GB, which makes it much smoother on games and more enjoyable on the internet. A RAM less expensive than the competition but of equivalent quality. Ideal to restore an old cuckoo clock without breaking the bank
Works very well, nothing to do with what I had before, windows recognized it directly, no problem, highly recommended, because I didn't have a powerful enough card for my games, which were quite slow, but now it's less slow and I can finally switch to windows 10 !!!! Yippee
This RAM is intended to give a new lease of life to your old laptop, in my case it was recognized as soon as I installed it so if you have a loss of speed with your old laptop this RAM is made for you ;)
