The FiiO KA13 Silver is a portable dongle-style DAC/headphone amplifier designed to turn a smartphone, tablet or computer into a high-resolution audio source. Desktop-level power in a dongle form factor
The FiiO KA13 Silver features a dual CS43131 DAC paired with two low-noise SGM8262 op-amps, ensuring precise conversion and detailed sound reproduction. It supports 32-bit / 384 kHz PCM files as well as DSD256, reproducing every nuance of high-resolution music. Its dedicated switch activates Desktop mode, boosting the power of the 4.4 mm balanced output to 550 mW at 32 ohms, while the 3.5 mm single-ended output delivers 170 mW. With a signal-to-noise ratio of 122 dB and distortion below 0.0005%, this portable DAC offers remarkable transparency. Its CNC-machined aluminum chassis features an RGB indicator that shows the current playback sampling rate.
Use the KA13 with an Android or iOS smartphone, a Windows PC or a Mac using the included detachable USB-C cable, Lightning cable and USB-A adapter. Plug it in, adjust the volume using the physical buttons and enjoy high-quality wired listening on the go or at your desk. The 3.5 mm output also functions as a SPDIF coaxial output, allowing you to connect an amplifier or external converter. The FiiO Control app lets you adjust settings from an Android device.
