Discover Blackmagic Design's Teranex Mini SDI Distribution 12G, which distributes one SDI input signal to eight SDI outputs. This converter features multi-rate 12G-SDI inputs with SDI synchronisation that automatically switch between SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60. It is the perfect tool for sending a single SDI signal to multiple devices, such as monitors, mixers and encoders.
Reinventing the mini converter
This Teranex Mini converter is easy to install in video systems and supports all types of equipment. The Teranex Mini is the ideal solution for broadcast installations as it can be rack-mounted and the front panel display (optional) allows you to view the video being converted. It can also be controlled remotely via Ethernet. It also features professional XLR connections for connecting your device to mixing consoles or other audio equipment!
Unlike traditional converters, the Teranex Mini can be fitted with a separately sold LCD screen. The optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel allows you to view the video being fed to the converter using this built-in LCD screen.
12G-SDI technology for SD, HD and Ultra HD, with breathtaking speed!
The Teranex Mini converter features advanced 12G-SDI multi-rate technology, which is eight times faster than traditional HD-SDI. The 12G-SDI multi-rate interface automatically detects and switches between SD, HD and Ultra HD, so you can connect Teranex Mini to all your existing SD and HD equipment. 12G-SDI supports high frame rate Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60 using a single BNC cable.
This Teranex Mini converter features professional-quality connectors, including professional XLR connections and high-speed BNC connectors that support the high bandwidth of 12G-SDI. It also includes a 90V-240V multi-volt DC power supply and an IEC-compliant power connector compatible with standard cables. The built-in Ethernet port allows remote control of the converter and power supply via the PoE switch.
