Its textured headband and ventilated metal mesh shells promote breathability while maintaining a robust structure. Its 150-ohm transducers (made by Sennheiser in Ireland) give you open, natural sound from 6 Hz to 39.5 kHz, and a wide soundstage.
As an added bonus, the HD 550 headphones come with a detachable 1.8 m (3.5 mm) cable and a 6.35 mm jack to 3.5 mm mini-jack adaptor.

Give it 30 hours of burn-in. And do not pair it with a silver-plated cable, because of its peak at 8k (sharp).
Under these conditions, it will be excellent. Even better: a nice warm Class A amplifier and you will be in heaven.
