With the HC-X2C camcorder,Panasonic offers a versatile camera that's ideal for professional shoots. A professional 4K camcorder, it's a compact, lightweight model designed for 4K 60p/50p 10-bit recording, with HLG and 13-stop V-Log. Thanks to its 1.0" sensor, the HC-X2C adapts to all shooting conditions, both indoors and outdoors. Its optical performance captures moving subjects with precision, thanks to its directly integrated lens. Its lens covers a focal range from 24.5mm wide-angle to 490mm telephoto, thanks to its 20x optical zoom. Its i.Zoom digital zoom can also take over, enabling 24x zoom in 4K, and up to 32x in Full HD.
Multiple recording modes, autofocus and image stabilizer
The HC-X2E supports a high bit rate of 200 Mbps for 59.94p/50p video recording in HEVC codec (LongGOP/10 bit 4:2:0/MOV). The Super Slow Motion function enables 10-bit recording at 120/100 fps in FHD and from 2 to 60 fps in 4K (UHD), for highly creative accelerated or slow-motion videos.
The HC-X2 camcorder features particularly effective face detection. This enables the autofocus to focus on your main subject, even when the subject is in profile. Distance and exposure are accurately tracked using data recorded by the sensor and advanced colour recognition.
In addition to the optical image stabilisation of the lens, electronic image stabilisation detects when the camera is shaking and makes a correction. The optical stabilisation system has been further improved by incorporating a ball-bearing system, which reduces friction and therefore improves correction of small-amplitude blur, such as hand shake.
Internal 4:2:2 10bit recording and Full-HD live streaming
Get all the colour information you've recorded with the 4:2:2 10-bit colour profile. The HC-X2E supports 10-bit Full-HD at 59.94p/50p (100 Mbit/s) and4K recording at 29.97p/25p (200 Mbit/s) to SD card. Thanks to the HDMI output, you can record 4K/10-bit files, even at 59.94p/50p.
The HC-X2E is equipped with HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) mode, one of the standards associated with HDR. In addition, it supports V-Log, which is also available on Panasonic's VARICAM cinema camera and LUMIX hybrid cameras, providing 13 stops of latitude. When combined with a V-Log compatible camera, colour gradation ensures a consistent image in post-production.
RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS compatible HD streaming allows concerts, sporting events and breaking news to be connected and streamed live* to Facebook, YouTube, etc.
features and design for professional-quality work
A built-in Wi-Fi module allows you to connect to the internet directly with the HC-X2 camcorder. Using a tablet with the HC ROP application, it is possible to connect a wireless remote control to adjust the camera and control the lens.
The HC-X2E camcorder is equipped with three manual rings for focusing, zooming and aperture control, and neutral density filters built into the lens to suppress incident light. You can select which filter to use (1/4, 1/16, 1/64 or disable them) depending on your shooting environment.
The HC-X2E is equipped with +48V phantom power and a selectable XLR MIC/LINE audio input with manual volume control for each of the 2 channels.
Even greater versatility and efficiency
The HC-X2E's 2,760,000-pixel LCD screen features an RGB pixel structure for high readability in bright conditions. This camcorder records images simultaneously in two different formats, Main (UHD/FHD) and Sub (FHD).
48 functions can be assigned to the user buttons. There are a total of 14 user buttons: 9 on the body and 5 on the LCD touchscreen. The 2,360,000-dot OLED colour viewfinder can be tilted for added convenience. The large eyecup adjusts comfortably to your eye.
A wired LAN connection enables stable live streaming even in environments with unstable Wi-Fi. Streaming is also possible using 5G smartphones via USB connection.
