The LEDs are housed in a solid casing, which dims and embeds the light for a smooth, continuous effect. The kit is securely mounted and can be easily installed on most surfaces using magnetic fasteners with adhesive protection.
With the Corsair iCUE locigiel, create your own light show by customising every detail, with intricate multi-layered light shows and effects synchronised across your entire system, on all your compatible RGB devices and components. The kit consists of two long (450 mm) and two short (250 mm) strips, containing 27 and 15 individually configurable LEDs respectively, as well as an external light controller, USB cable and external power cable.

Corsair did a great job, very easy to install and configure with iCue.
I didn't have any problems with the hooks, the magnets have a lip to prevent the bars from moving afterwards, but the magnets stick well. Installed on a DELL Ultrawide 49", so with the 450mm extension kit as well.
The whole thing is really pretty and looks really good, but the fixing system completely spoils the product.
The fixing of the metal plates with double-sided tape, and the LED bars are equipped with magnets, but what an idea...the LED bars spend their time falling down because the magnets are not strong enough to hold them and still I consider myself lucky the back of my screen is relatively flat...
To sum up if you are willing to buy a product that requires you to buy double-sided or other as an alternative to the "official" mount go for it, otherwise run away!
