Having tested both the Oculus Rift S and the Quest, without question, the Quest is the best.
Despite a slightly more pronounced Screen Door Effect on the Quest, it's barely noticeable and doesn't interfere. As for the difference in InGame graphics, despite graphics below the Rift S, the Oled screens do a great job, much more beautiful colours and especially a superb contrast where with the Rift S we have washed out blacks ugly enough, especially the dark games (Vader Immortal to name one) which renders quite badly with the Rift S.
Anyway, this difference can be overcome thanks to the Oculus Link which allows you to transform the Oculus Quest into an "Oculus Rift Q" by connecting it to your PC and thus benefit from the same advantages as the Rift S (at the moment the quality is very slightly superior with the Rift S but the Link is in beta and the developers have promised an improvement in video compression via the Link and thus to have access to the same (or even superior) quality as the Rift S in the coming months).
Despite the fact that the Valve Index is clearly above in terms of video quality, for me, the Quest is the future of VR, for its practicality and now, thanks to the Link, for its great compatibility with all VR content.
