It's a very simple camera, but it's perfectly adequate for occasional use. I use it for personal video. It is recognized without problem and immediately by Windows (v 10 for me). The only problem is that the camera is not attached to the wall, which could be more practical.
As usual, the product ordered arrived before I had finished building the machine. Great service and excellent prices. Thank you - keep it up, LDLC team!
Perfectly meets expectations! Image quality... Works on several operating systems... No need to install just plug it in!
The video quality is standard, which is perfect for MS Teams / Skype style use (I only use it for that).
As far as the built-in microphone is concerned, it's on the low end. The feedback I've had from contacts I've been able to call in video is unanimous -> there is a high-pitched and unpleasant white noise every time the microphone is active. I'm not sure how to adjust it (and even less so when you don't have admin rights on your pro PC).
I then bought a Samson Go-Mic and since then communications are crystal clear.
I chose this rating because I am completely satisfied with the product. I have to admit that it was the low price that made me choose this webcam, which I use almost exclusively in the family context. The few times that I have gone outside of the home, the performance has been just as I expected.
