I'm switching from an iPhone 14 Plus to this iPhone 17 Pro Max 512 Go and I absolutely do not regret my purchase.
A small transparency note: delivery was one week late with Chronopost, but LDLC customer service was responsive when I contacted them.
As for the phone, it is unquestionably the best iPhone I have had. The battery life is monstrous: fast charging at 35 W and more than a full day of use without stress. The screen is superb, with brightness far superior to that of the previous models I have owned.
The performance is stunning: everything opens instantly. On the photo side, the sensors are excellent and the ProRAW format is a real plus for editing.
I particularly appreciate the Action button and the new photo button, which notably allows you to take selfies in portrait or landscape without tilting the phone.
Magnificent finishes, superb blue color: I recommend it without hesitation.??

Switching from Android OPPO to Iphone was very complicated, I had to use an old Samsung to transfer my phone calls, SMS and What's App to do it properly without any losses..
Otherwise I was able to transfer all my apps to IOS Apps.
I chose the IPHONE 17 for photo reports. I am very satisfied, even amazed by the quality obtained with this phone, even with objects moving quickly the image is sharp, so I will not need to invest in a camera.

I bought it for its camera lenses (zoom) and I'm happy with it, even though it's not easy to keep your hand steady when taking photos... I've been using the phone for a month now, and I'm not at all disappointed.
Compared with the iPhone 16, it heats up much less thanks to the steam chamber and aluminium alloy.
The phone is also very powerful, so it's hard to push it to its limits, whether you're playing games or doing heavier tasks like video editing. The chip does its job very well.
As for the aluminium, a lot of people complain about scratches on their phone. As far as I'm concerned, after a month's use, it's still in perfect condition. The only advice I can give is to protect it with a case, which means no worries.
As for the video features, I'm very pleased with the addition of ProRes RAW, which is a big plus for video editing.
In conclusion, I'd recommend the iPhone 17 Pro to anyone looking for a new phone.
