good quality, but a bit heavy
Quite an interesting portable format, but still a bit heavy with the protective cover, weighing in at 800g. The tablet runs smoothly, including when playing games. Initially, I wanted to replace my Android tablet and was looking more towards Android, with a budget of around £300, but in the end, having been on iPhone for a year, it made more sense to have an OS that was more suited and compatible with the iPhone.
A few regrets about this iPad:
- The weight with the "stand" cover in portrait or landscape mode is over 800g, which is heavy.
- One-handed navigation, already impossible on the iPhone, is even more so on the 11" iPad. On the Android side, gesture navigation with just your thumb has been perfect since 2020.
- And the camera, which I found to be very sensitive to flares and dull colours in a few tests.
Otherwise, I'm quite happy with this iPad. The battery life is still decent for now, and for accessories, I bought "NoName" ones, as Apple's are far too expensive.
