Works very well
Quiet enough yet still quite powerful. I put it in an old Synology NAS (from 2014) and it does a good job.

Following the advice of photographers and other acquaintances, I bought a NAS and these 2 x 16TB drives (one for storage and the other for automatic backup). It's quite practical because I needed to free up space on the laptop and also have a reliable system to store and automatically back up my work files and especially photos locally. Setting it up is fairly simple; it seems like a good solution in my case. To be continued...
Hard drive included in a data backup server, working well, no issues so far. Thank you.
N300 16Tb hard disk recognised without problems in a Synology DS923+ NAS.
No warning message, does not heat up in normal use.
I took 2 x16TB, for my NAS extension. As my main NAS is entirely SSD, I was expecting, especially after reading the reviews, to have HDDs that make their presence felt.
Not at all, they are completely silent. During heavy writing sessions, you can hear a few disk accesses (a low, intermittent noise) but you have to listen carefully.
They heat up more than SSDs (they still have an advantage), which will probably mean more fan noise in the summer, but otherwise these drives almost make me regret having put only SSDs in my main NAS :)
As ordered, well packaged.
I took 6 TB to install in a NAS QNAP TS-664 and I must say "What a change!!!! WOW!!!".
Average 280 MB/s transfer (write) in RAID 6 from the PC (SSD) to the NAS.
High performance, some scratching noise, but it's acceptable.
I'm waiting to see how reliable it is over time: after all, they did make the trip from mainland France to Reunion Island.
In any case, I'm very happy with it.
