I haven't received the product yet, but I've already had a chance to test it, and it's a sure bet, despite what people say on the internet. Yes, it heats up a bit more, but the man invented watercooling! Intel has made a real effort with this product, which bodes well for the future.

Great for office use, gaming, electronic simulation (qucsstudio), EDA (KiCad), etc.
In short, very versatile, especially if backed up by a large amount of RAM
very fast in Windows applications. Doesn't do anything more for games than the previous generation.
It's not easy to comment on a processor that's good without being top-of-the-range, but it's much cheaper than the ultra9 285K, so I thought it would be good value for money.
In real life, I can't see any difference with my old processor (which was the 8th generation I7 8700K OC at 5.4Ghz) when it comes to games and office work, but when I'm working on C++ and Python programs, it's actually faster, and even IDEs load faster and are smoother.
