It's sturdy and well equipped. A very good evolution of the 670, assembly is still just as simple. Connecting two GPUs lets you work with peace of mind, the E version has better USB ports but the price difference isn't worth it just for that.
Motherboard designed to accommodate a 9950x3d: worked right away after installing the processor (apart from the initial RAM 'training' time), but I still updated the BIOS to benefit from any minor fixes.
The lane sharing is a bit unusual, but in this case I don't currently need USB4 or the remaining PCI slot, so I can put the NVMe SSDs wherever I want. If you have more constraints, check it out.
The card also has an additional PCIe power connector, which can relieve the 12v-2x6 on the graphics card a little if it's power-hungry.
The EXPO worked immediately, and there are plenty of configuration options in the BIOS to adapt it to your needs. It's a very good card. The LED display for error codes is also very useful.
The 4 M2s and 3 USB 4.0s will be useful for upgrading. Vrm ok. Mounted with Ryzen 7 9700x and 1 M2 of 2 TO PCIE 5.0. Be careful to ensure that the RAM memory is compatible with the CPU and motherboard. Bios very practical and clear

All the components are quite well protected, I just had a small problem with some of the CM/Case screws but it must have come from the case, otherwise nothing to say.
after a lot of benchmark studies on my side before choosing this motherboard, I wasn't 100% sure, but it's definitely worth the diversions.
However, be careful when you launch it, make sure you have an ethernet connection (or a wifi key) because you need to install a driver BEFORE you can use the wifi antenna. If you're doing a new installation (new Windows PC for example), you'll need to install a driver.

Unfortunately, the motherboard was out of action on arrival due to a faulty CPU slot. When the CPU latch is closed, the system will not power up, whereas it works without the latch. So, for obvious reasons, the motherboard was faulty and unusable.
Since Intel is not currently up to our expectations and the AM5 socket is supported until 2027, I switched to AMD.
The MSI quality is there for the taking and the specifications guarantee us a few years of durability.
* It's a shame that the first card I received was bent at the backplate. Given the price of this one, I therefore returned it for a change "hence my lower star".
Purchased with a Ryzen 7 9700X, no problem and EXPO profile taken into account for RAM without BIOS update.
Lots of little adaptations made to make connections easier, which I appreciate.
Boot times are a little long, but this is apparently normal on the AM5, otherwise it's fine.
The MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI motherboard is an excellent option for users looking for a reliable and high-performance solution for a configuration based on the latest generation AMD Ryzen processors, it is coupled with a 9800X3D and 96GB of ram, and meets my needs perfectly now and I hope future too, points to note :

Possibility for the second m.2 pci-e 5 slot to be x4 by disabling two 40Gbps USB ports at the rear of the cm.
Good ram overclocking potential (remember to look), which is crucial if you want to be sure of reaching the next sweet spot for ram when ZEN 6 is released.
True WIFI 7 with support for 320Mhz frequency for those who are interested (I'm still wired myself)
8-layer PCB compared to Gigabyte cards, for example.
Overall good cooling performance.

Although not the cheapest card, its feature set fully justifies its price for those looking for durability and performance.

I received it in perfect condition and the box only hints at just perfect transport! I recommend for amd users.

After a long research on the different models of motherboards based on X870/X870E I found that the MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK corresponded perfectly to what I was looking for, an excellent connectivity on the I/O port, enough NVME port (special mention to the second for gen5 which if it is used for NVME GEN 5 does not lower the PCIE lines of the PCIE slot), very easy to assemble, keeps a good temperature.
This card offers a lot of useful features for a reasonable price. Coupled with a 78003XD, the configuration will last for quite a few years.
