Definitely the headset with the best value for money
Very comfortable, very good sound, very well suited for music as well as gaming (3,5 and 6,35mm)
It doesn't have a mic, but external mics are better than built-in mics and quite affordable.
This headset is not one of Beyerdynamic's best seller for nothing. The sound is excellent, very comfortable and easily adjustable to be worn for hours, clean and elegant design. The headband cushion is fully removable for thorough maintenance. The cable is not detachable, but very long and thick, I have no doubt that it will hold up well over time. A little extra, the jack adapter for amplifier can be screwed on for a better hold.

I swapped my MMX200 from Beyerdynamic for this good old DT 770 PRO in the 250 ohm version because paired with a mixing console and an XLR mic and... WOW!
The sound quality is simply fantastic, whether for gaming, listening to music or making music. It's so powerful that it makes you forget the cable, which you have to get used to again or you might walk off with the mixing console and the mic arm!
In this case, I went for a model proven by my partner for over 4 years, easily replaceable wear parts, in short... A TREAT, GO FOR IT!

Honestly, I love these headphones! They're super comfortable to wear, even during long sessions. The sound spatialisation is really great, which is a real advantage in games like Rainbow Six Siege or CS2 where hearing exactly where sounds are coming from is super important.
On the other hand, the bass is present but fairly discreet. It lacks a bit of punch if you like really powerful bass.
The sound is fairly neutral and very good quality, perfect for all my needs.
Just one detail for those like me who "panicked" when unpacking: it comes with a pre-installed 6.35 adapter that can be easily removed.
To sum up: high sound quality and comfort of use are definitely there!
These headphones are also suitable for classical music, with well-defined mid-range, non-aggressive treble and strong bass. As someone who listens to a lot of organ music (wide sound spectrum and strong dynamics), I really appreciate these headphones, particularly for their rendering of the pedal stops, which often go down to the extreme low range (32-foot pipes = 16 Hz!). The high frequencies (1-foot stops) and harmonics are clearly reproduced. The closed-back design of these headphones allows you to stay focused and preserve the atmosphere of a concert. The 80-ohm impedance posed no problem on my laptop or desktop computer.
These headphones, widely used by professionals and music lovers, deserve their reputation.

There's no denying it, nothing beats wired. Zero latency, zero compression, zero batteries to manage. Whether you're in the studio or just listening to music and playing, they're a joy to use.
What's more, the headphones are light and comfortable to wear. The design is rudimentary, but if you're looking at this product sheet, it's headphones you're after, not show-off headphones :p

Everything is fine, the headphones work perfectly, I highly recommend them. I plugged them into my mixing desk and the cable is a good size.
These headphones are renowned for their studio, closed-back sound pick-up and changeable foam (if you use them a lot, we recommend changing them every year to ensure you always get the best sound).
It also does the job very well for mixing: bearing in mind that these headphones boost the bass and deepen the midrange due to their closed-back nature, you need to take this into account in your mixes, so don't be afraid that your mixes will have too much bass or not enough midrange when listened to through these headphones. In open headphones, this will be compensated for.

The quality is top notch and the headphones are light for very long sessions.
a bigger cushion would be better, but if not for the price, going from a hyper x cloud 2 at 80 to the DT770 pro at 150 is a real bonus (no microphone, of course).
The headphones are comfortable to wear over long periods because they rest on the skull and not on the earlobes.
The wire is robust, a little 'siliconed' and very long. This last point will please some and exasperate others!
The audio quality suits me perfectly, even though I'm by no means an expert.
I mainly use them for recording with a ZOOM h4, listening to streaming music (which is pretty poor quality ;-) ) and watching films on DVD.
The headphones are very good quality, and the sound is very well reproduced, as I like music/sound. I also use them for gaming, and they're quite comfortable thanks to the foam and the hinge. Despite its size, it doesn't feel heavy on the head. What's more, the headphone cable is very long, which makes it very practical.

What can I say about this sublime DT-770 Pro from Beyerdynamic?
It's simply perfect, I've got the 250 ohm version and I don't know if everything I'm going to say will necessarily be reflected in the other versions available!
To begin with, let's talk about the packaging, because it's the first thing you see when you receive this product. As they always say, it's the first impression that counts. Black box, sober photo of the helmet on top. When you open the box, the headset sits on a diagonal support that keeps the headset in place and protects the supplied cable, which is more than long enough.
To continue, in terms of use, I plugged the headphones into a Focusrite Solo mini soundboard and the jack plug fitted perfectly (there's no Jack -> USB adapter, so be careful when you buy them!) After plugging it in, it worked very well straight away (perfect transition in terms of comfort). It adapts very well to the shape of your head, the ear cushions are very pleasant and easily take the shape of your ears, and the top band is very flexible and you don't feel it during use.
Let's talk about the sound, the headphones do the job perfectly, the closed version reduces ambient noise quite nicely, for bass and treble, I'm no expert but in any case the sound is very very good, to be seen on other uses.
To finish, if I have to give this headphone an overall rating, I'd give it a good 8.5/10, the points it loses are on price and accessibility. Today 149€ is still expensive for a headphone that came out in 1985 (yes, it's getting old for a headphone), but for accessibility, the 250 ohm version will need to be plugged into a sound desk for sufficient power to be sent to the headphone, compared to the other 80 ohm and 24 ohm versions, which will be sufficient on a classic jack socket. I'd definitely recommend it!

It arrived well, ready to use, I use it for professional reasons. I've given it this rating because I have nothing to say about the way it works, it's great, you can hear the bass and treble.
The headphones are perfect for recording voices! They close tightly and adapt to the shape of your head, while remaining extremely comfortable. The materials are really top-of-the-range, which more than justifies the price. I've had them for 2 months now and I already know that they're going to last over time, especially as the case supplied means I can put them away without worrying about them collecting dust.
I recommend these headphones, the sound level is top notch, and the quality and comfort in my ears are a delight. In short, I'm switching from a Logitech G733 to the Beyerdinamic DT770 Pro 80ohms and I'm extremely satisfied.

Only two drawbacks:
the cable protection is very thin, which can cause sound problems with other equipment next to it.
The size adjustment system, although functional, is not very good quality.

I have not much experience in audio, I am not audiophile, I took the headphones because it is a reference. The sound is very good, but the box is 4 times the size of the box of the headphones, if there would be packages a little more suitable it would fit in my mailbox. I pay the shipping on ldlc, then pay again at the post office ... in the end the headphones cost me 190eu. So I put 4 stars for that but the helmet itself is very comfortable and efficient
No need to introduce this headset, I use a Fiio BTR3K as my audio interface and it is the best closed headset I have tried.
I put 4/5 for only one reason, the headset presses quite hard on the sides of the head and I had to force to unfold it a little.
But apart from that this headset is superb.

1. Very good ergonomics
The helmet is light and very comfortable to wear, provided it fits well.
2. Excellent sound quality for DAW, music listening, movie watching
The sound is just perfectly balanced, and I can hear every nuance of the instruments with precision, clarity and depth.
Listening is very pleasant, comfortable and does not tire the hearing at a reasonable volume (anyway it is dangerous for the hearing to listen to music at very high volume and for a long time, either with headphones or speakers)
I can work on my DAW and also listen to my favourite music, for hours, without feeling any discomfort or hearing fatigue.

3. Perfect versatility and very good sound isolation
I like the 80 ohms version which is very versatile. It offers a very good compromise between a varied use on various supports (audio card dedicated to the MAO, PC, smartphone, etc.) and an excellent quality and power of listening. Moreover, as it is a closed headset, the sound isolation is excellent so as not to disturb anyone.
4. The unbeatable quality/price ratio
Finally, the value for money is simply excellent !!!!
PS: In this 80 ohm version the cable is straight and not spiral like in the 250 ohm version.
Personally, I don't mind because what matters to me above all is the quality of the sound, the versatility, the comfort of the headphones and the value for money. In these four areas I am completely satisfied
