Don't neglect the tower, whatever its size. You need a silent, well-ventilated tower: Silent base 601 meets both my requirements!
Solid, very quiet, the manual is almost non-existent and a little more information would be welcome on the interior layout and specifications.
Ordering this tower on delivery was the worst idea ever. 12kg to carry for 30 minutes definitely hurts your arms!
On the other hand, I'm still very happy with the quality of the Be Quiet! cases, even though I already had their large tower model. Easy to open, easy to assemble, maybe just a little problem with the fan mounting grid at the top of the case, which can get in the way of the RAM bars depending on the size of the fans.
But there's nothing insurmountable about it, and it's still as quiet as ever. On the other hand, on the two towers I've had, I've no idea how the speed selection pin on the case fans is connected... It's connected to the controller pin on the motherboard, but it's not essential.
A deafening silence that won't disturb your ears.
The case is easy to open. It's still an XL size, but that's the price you have to pay.

All sides are easily accessible. The panels are easy to remove.

It's completely large and, above all, quiet. The side panels have acoustic foam, which is a plus when you want a quiet PC. The fans included are of good quality (one at the back and one at the front measuring 140mm), and controlled at the front of the PC with a choice of 3 speeds!
Many dust filters are included which is a plus!

My old box was low cost, I was doing my first configuration I needed something cheap ... however after 4 years I told myself it was time to change this box and I fell on this one which at first seemed much too large, but when I put my pc back in it I realized how comfortable it was to have room to store cables put the ssd at the back well store a pleasure really. It's really quiet, of course, depending on the fans you choose, and the built-in filters really do a great job of cleaning!

Despite its slightly imposing size for a mid-range tower, its purely rectangular shape and sober, unobtrusive aesthetic will blend seamlessly into your office. Well thought-out for cables and front and rear fans.

The case is extremely easy to assemble and the PC runs perfectly, however I had a problem with sound resonance.
After inspection it turned out that my fans make noise when they are running, and this noise is amplified to the point of being very loud because of the glass panel which does not absorb or dissipate the sound at all.
I personally reversed the glass and non-glass panels (which has a noise dampening foam) and this drastically reduced the noise to a very quiet level but at the cost of aesthetics.
At this price the resonance problems of the materials should not even be an issue. This is very disappointing for such a well made and practical tower.

Incredibly quiet and very well thought out enclosure. Even in the test phase with the side panels removed you can't hear a thing.
And the quality is there.
I am completely satisfied with this case which I chose on the basis of the promises made by the German brand BE QUIET (on its website and in the Youtube videos). After 2 weeks of use (2 hours per day on average), I can say that this case lives up to the promises made by BE QUIET. I now know which brand to choose for a spacious, robust (resistant to small everyday shocks) and QUIET case.
Solid box and perfect ergonomics: easy to open, filters easily accessible, well thought out mounting space for all configurations (my large CG has all the space it needs, and I installed the rest without any problem even though I'm not a pro at mounting).
I added another Bequiet 140 in the front. Instead of monitoring the fans with a software, I use the front panel controller. In position 1, you can't hear anything and in high def gaming, the proc stays at 45° (Intel i5 10600KF and Noctua U12A) and the CG at 58° (MSI Gaming Z trio). It's really quiet and cool.
Aesthetically, it's classy. What more could you ask for?
An exceptionally well finished case, with a practicality without name and an exemplary silence. Possibility to fix the ssd in the tower... Unfortunately, a lot of accessories are missing. Only 2 fans, 2 DDR racks (one 2u and one 1u) and no management cable drawer are provided on the opaque version of the tower... (no cd drive slot but it seems obvious.)

The case is too big for what I do with it, but there is plenty of room to mount, add things, etc. No problem with ventilation and after about 6 months of use, the dust seems to be well contained. I would have preferred a softer feel, but this is a detail, and I prefer a button like that (and solid) rather than a nice button that dies very quickly.
The panels are soundproofed with a well-made dense foam.
Everything is easily removable.
The case is really spacious.
Two 120mm fans are included.
Be careful with a CEB SSI card, the cable outlets are under the card. However, this is not a problem, you just have to pass by the disk openings.
I can't compare with other cameras (it's my first one), but here is my feedback:

After reading comments that the top watercooling does not work, my verdict: supports a X470 Gaming plus motherboard with an AIO Artic freezer II 240 watercooling, top fan / top.
The case is very well designed, the instructions are complete and the installation easy.
And it's so quiet!

Very good build quality. The Be Quiet! Silent Base 601 keeps its promises: silence and discretion. I use it for my server which is always running, and I must say that it's nice not to hear the hard drives spinning anymore! Speaking of hard drives, the 8 x 3.5 bays are very welcome for my use (remember to buy the media if you want to populate them).
A lot of space is present in the case, which allows the placement of a large graphics card for video game enthusiasts, and possibly experiment with custom watercooling (prefer the tempered glass version ;) ).
There is plenty of room for cable management, so perfectionists will be happy.
The only drawback is the ease of assembly compared to the instructions: not being used to Be Quiet! cases, I did not immediately understand how it opened, and I did not find any instructions concerning this in the manual.
In short, for its price, this box is excellent!

I didn't know BeQuiet and I'm not disappointed.
There is a lot of metal for the skeleton and a good quality and well finished plastic for the casing. You can feel it on the weight!
The look is sober and doesn't go out of style.
There are multiple ways to organise the interior, fans, watercooling radiators of all sizes, discs, cable management. The body has foam to absorb noise.
The disc racks are well placed to take advantage of the ventilation.
The panels can be removed without screws, clips or release buttons.
The only thing is that I think it's a shame that the top of the case doesn't come off or have a more open grille to make a watercooling radiator more efficient, we'll see in use there are still holes everywhere.
Quality case, the price is justified, the quality/price ratio is good.

Two "negative" points (but not enough to give it anything other than a 10): the front rheobus that I find rather useless, and the front panel that can be removed a little too easily.
The quality is there with this case. The installation of a motherboard (ATX in my case) and the other components is easy. Be careful not to lose the M2 screw supplied: the bag is so small that it is easy to miss.
The case allows a very efficient cable management and then the silence is perfect thanks to a good sound insulation and a very good air circulation.

I have never been able to order these extra HDD racks from ldlc. I have to say that I'm very pleased with the service and the quality of the product. A bit disappointed.
Very practical for assembly and almost inaudible when the panels are closed. You could sleep next to it.
The tower comes with screws and a bracket for installing an additional hard drive (that's 3 in all). The 900 version is much more complete with brackets and screws but the price is also different.
A few words about the delivery: Ordered in "chronopost before 10am" (36E extra) the delivery man says that the address is not good and that the package will not be delivered then he delivers anyway without warning at 12:30 explaining that he did this to not make too many return trips on his tour. I contacted LDLC who told me that the shipping costs would be refunded and now I have no news. (My note does not take into account the delivery)
Overall, it's well made, even if it's a lot of plastic.

This case is very well finished, it exudes quality but...
Unfortunately it comes with only one 3.5" hard disk rack although there are other slots. I find this unacceptable for this type of equipment and this price.
The manual is not very complete and does not specify all the subtleties of this case and in particular the access to the front filter.
I immediately decided to return it to LDLC...
LDLC services are top notch as usual with good advice...
The internal ergonomics are not very good, everything is done with thumb screws, the 5" disk slots are (very) badly positioned ... only 1 HDD cradle is provided .... Next time, I'll be more careful... I don't recommend the product.
First time I bought a high-end tower. Well, I'm impressed. Easy to open/close, plenty of cable management and a clean tower. But above all, not a single noise and a perfect processor temperature.
If like me you are looking for a quiet and sober case, this is the one you need!

Contrary to what is announced in the videos, this case is not the best designed with watercooling.
Once installed, the watercooling system will cover a part of the card and shave the Ram memory slots.
This means that it is impossible to mount a Corsair Hydro Series H115i PRO with Corsair Dominator Platinum for example. The grid where the watercooling is fixed is 5mm too low. Of course if you want to put your watercooling in the right place.
The case and its soundproofing systems are badly finished. For example on the power supply frame there is a 1mm offset, which indicates a poor factory finish that should not be at this price.
When I received my case, the inner covers of the racks were missing.
No solution for inserting a drive/burner either.
2 stars because I take my word for it being quiet. The panel system is nice but nothing revolutionary. It has a nice design.
But I'm thinking of making a return to swap because this too low grid that makes it mandatory to watercool over the CM flush with the RAM memory slots is a drain and limits us in our choice of component or ram system.

Really quiet at minimum speed, a bit less at full speed, otherwise even when all the gear is heating up inside you still can't hear the graphics card and cpu fans.
The side panels are really nice to take off, in my old config I was so lazy to screw the panels back on that I didn't put them back on anymore ^^.
The access to the filter is really well thought out.
Otherwise little info, the covers on the hard disk openings are only provided with the glass version.
I opted for air cooling when I read some tests saying that the openings would be too small for water cooling, but frankly, I'm not sure of the veracity of these statements, there are vents on almost the entire length of the case (in the small grooves), I would like to read a small benchmark on this subject on this case.
I've opted for shop delivery, it's almost a shame, they treat us like thieves, it gives a bad image of the site and a very bad image of the shop, I wouldn't go there again.
