The 16-inch MacBook Pro with M5 Pro or M5 Max chip delivers unprecedented speed and powerful on-device AI capabilities for all your personal, professional, and creative tasks. With all-day battery life and a breathtaking Liquid Retina XDR display, it’s pro in every way.1

Key features:

  • ACCELERATION AHEAD – In addition to a next-generation CPU, faster unified memory, and SSD storage up to twice as responsive,2 the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips feature a more powerful GPU with a Neural Accelerator in every core, for accelerated AI performance and on-device training capabilities. So you can tackle your most demanding tasks with stunning speed.
  • DESIGNED FOR AI – Apple chips and all the major components that power them are designed to run demanding AI tasks directly on device, such as inference and training large language models. And Apple Intelligence helps you communicate, express yourself, and get more done effortlessly, with breakthrough technologies that protect your privacy every step of the way3.
  • ALL-DAY BATTERY LIFE – MacBook Pro delivers exceptional performance, whether it’s plugged in or running on battery1.
  • FAST APPS WITH MACOS – All your apps run lightning fast on macOS, including built-in apps like FaceTime4 and Messages. And built-in antivirus protections and free software updates help keep your Mac running smoothly and securely.
  • IF YOU LOVE IPHONE, YOU’LL LOVE MAC – Mac works seamlessly with your other Apple devices. Copy something on your iPhone and paste it on your Mac. Chat over Messages or use your Mac to take FaceTime calls4.
  • STUNNING PRO DISPLAY – The 16.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display5 delivers 1,600 nits peak brightness6, up to 1,000 nits sustained brightness, and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
  • ADVANCED CAMERA AND AUDIO – A 12MP Center Stage camera, three studio-quality microphones, and six speakers with Spatial Audio and support for Dolby Atmos help keep you in frame and sounding your best.
  • VERSATILE CONNECTIVITY – It features three Thunderbolt 5 ports, a MagSafe 3 charging port, an SDXC card slot, an HDMI port, a headphone jack, and the Apple-designed N1 wireless chip for Wi Fi 77 and Bluetooth 6. And it supports up to three external displays with M5 Pro and up to four with M5 Max.
  • POWER ADAPTERS – Please note that the MacBook Pro (16-inch) with M5 Pro or M5 Max comes with a USB C to MagSafe 3 charging cable, but no power adapter. A USB C power adapter or another USB PD power source capable of delivering 94 W (or more) is required to charge this device. For optimal charging, Apple recommends pairing this Mac with the Apple 96 W USB C Power Adapter, or the 140 W USB C Power Adapter for demanding workflows and to take advantage of fast charge (up to 50 % charge in just 30 minutes)8.

    a real little power beast

This MacBook in its M5 Pro version, with 15 CPU and 16 GPU, is already a real power beast. If you don’t do extremely heavy 8K editing every day and saving even a single second isn’t crucial for you, there’s no need to pay double for the Max version! I compared the processor power of this machine to that of my Ultra 9 285K on my work PC, and Intel is behind: 22 300 points on Geekbench 6.7 in multi-core versus 26 450 for the Mac! I couldn’t believe my eyes, same in single-core… And all that for only 35 watts of consumption! A real revolution, these M5 Pro chips.
