It can be used for recreational diving (with a compatible third-party app downloaded from the App Store) to a depth of 40 metres and for high-speed water sports. Apple Watch Ultra 3 should not be used for scuba diving at depths greater than 40 metres. Water resistance is not permanent and may decrease over time. 6 Emergency calling requires a cellular connection or Wi-Fi calling with an internet connection from your Apple Watch or nearby iPhone. You can use Apple Watch models with cellular connectivity to call emergency services in many locations, provided that cellular data service is available. Some cellular networks may refuse emergency calls from your Apple Watch if it is not activated, if it is not compatible with a specific cellular network or if it is not configured to work on that network, if it is not configured for cellular data service, or if the cellular network does not support IMS emergency calls. 7 Arrhythmia notifications require the latest versions of watchOS and iOS. They are not intended for people under the age of 22 or for people who have already been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (AF).
