Coupled with Altyk's 27" screen, it's perfect for office work or studies on a budget of 1,000 eur...
Given to my parents to replace an old Toshiba. It was the closest thing I had to a Mac on a reasonable budget. Buying a Windows laptop is a horror because there's so much choice. Here, I loved the buying experience, with a very distinct catalogue and the accessories to go with it. What's more, it's French. Otherwise, it's compact and light. Its aluminium finish gives it a solid feel. It has all the standard connections. And the screen is pretty good. You just need to increase the interface scaling in Windows, because otherwise it looks small, especially for older people :-). Coupled with Altyk's 27" screen, it's perfect for office use. The only negative point is the battery, which lasts around 4-5 hours. Of course, this depends on usage, settings and connected devices. You should be able to get up to 7 hours on the move, in eco mode, with nothing plugged in. The quality of the speakers is average. And opening them is tricky, requiring two hands.
