The Hip-Dac 3 features atruly balanced circuitcircuit, reducing distortion for a purer, more captivating sound. Thanks to high-quality components, including a custom iFi OVincluding a custom iFi OV operational amplifier and a Texas Instruments power IC,it delivers up to400 mW for 32 ohm headphones and 6.3 V for high-impedance headphonesfrom the balanced output.
Hi-Res Audio certified, theHip-Dac 3 supports PCM, DSD, DXD and MQA formats. Itsupports audio up to 32-bit/384kHz via its USB-C input,with an asynchronous design for jitter-free data transfer. Itoffers an unbalanced 3.5 mm outputwithS-Balanced circuitry and a balanced 4.4 mm output, as well as a 2200 mAh battery offering up to 12 hours of autonomy.
The Hip-Dac 3 features PowerMatchfunction, a switchable gain for adapting the power of your headphones, and iEMatchtechnology to optimise the output of high-sensitivity in-ear headphones, reducing hiss and improving detail. ItsXBass function amplifies bassin the analogue domain,ensuring clear, dynamic soundfor open earphones and headphones.
