The Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO X combines the benchmark features of the DT 770 PRO with the flexibility of Stellar.45 drivers and a detachable cable. Made in Germany, the DT 770 PRO X opens a new chapter in the successful Beyerdynamic DT series.
Proven acoustic signature
The DT 770 PRO X circum-aural studio headphones feature the proven acoustic signature of the DT 770 PRO. It gives you powerful bass,detailed highs and excellent spatial sound reproduction: professional musicians, producers, studio operators and sound engineers have relied on these qualities for decades. Flexible and powerful, the DT 770 PRO X is perfect for recording and monitoring thanks to its closed design.
Thanks to its Stellar.45 (48 ohm) drivers that offer a wide frequency response from 5 to 40,000 Hz, the DT 770 PRO X headphones let you enjoy studio reference sound on a wide range of playback equipment.To achieve this, the drivers use a neodymium magnet and a voice coil made of precision copper-plated wire. The high conductivity means you can enjoy high performance. These loudspeakers keep distortion extremely low, even at high sound pressure levels. The Stellar.45 drivers have an impedance of 48 ohms and prove that low-impedance sound transducers can deliver excellent studio-quality sound.
Sound reference and comfort
The DT 770 PRO X now offers even greater flexibility thanks to its detachable cable. The headphones come with a 3m long straight cable with a lockable 3-pin mini XLR connector. This can be connected to a variety of devices via a 3.5mm stereo plug, which includes a screw-on 6.3mm adaptor.
For decades, the DT range of studio headphones has not only set the benchmark for sound, but also for comfort. As well as the robust construction of the headband, it's the iconic velvet ear cushions that ensure exceptional comfort even during long studio sessions. The flexible memory foam used in the headband allows it to adapt ergonomically to the shape of your head. The headband and ear cushions can be replaced if necessary.
High German quality
Made in Germany, the DT 770 PRO X is characterised by the high production quality that Beyerdynamic has stood for for many decades. The loudspeakers are manufactured to extremely strict tolerances and measured several times during the various stages of production. The combination of robust metal parts and shock- and scratch-resistant ABS plastic makes the DT 770 PRO X a durable companion for everyday use in the studio. For durability, almost all parts of the studio headphones can be replaced.
