TheAten KH2516A KVM Switch is a control unit that allows IT administrators to access and control multiple computers from two PS/2 or USB (dual bus) KVM consoles. Operators working on up to two consoles can independently control up to 16 computers simultaneously. By daisy-chaining up to 15 additional switches, up to 256 computers can be controlled from the original KVM consoles.

This switch has unique and powerful features that enable administrators to manage their entire server room and data centre devices simply and conveniently. For example, the advanced Adapter Identification function stores the configuration information of the adapter cable (e.g. its ID, port name, operating system, keyboard language, etc.). This feature allows administrators to move servers to other ports without having to reconfigure the adapters. Another advantage of this switch is its Full HD video quality, which allows the distance to servers to be extended up to 30 m with 1920 x 1200 resolution.
