I wanted a wired keyboard because I'm fed up with Bluetooth, which needs recharging and sometimes won't connect.
But what's with this cable? Normally, the keyboard is connected to the central processing unit, which isn't too far from the screen.
But the cable is so long that I think I could take the keyboard to the toilet. I think part of the price includes the cost of the cable BY THE KILO!
Apart from that, I like that there are two ends.

I am very satisfied with my items, the salesperson's expertise, and the speed of availability in store, so I am giving 5 stars.
It's small and quiet, and powerful enough to run Photoshop and Lightroom with large files ... For long-time users with TB of archives, the SSD's small size quickly limits its performance, so a Satechi cradle and a ROM strip must be added. Connected to a Benq 27', the unit replaced a used and no longer manufactured iMac 27 (a formula regretted by many users). In the end, the replacement worked, but Apple only sold 1,000€ units of the set, whereas if it had still produced a 27' iMac, it would have sold 2,000€ units (commercial and industrial logic?).
I've been an Apple fan since my conversion in the 90s, and I admit that I've often turned to the second-hand market. This time, I opted for this model, which is very much in tune with my use: DTP, MAO, video (...) which are increasingly demanding in terms of performance...
I like the compactness, the silence, the computing power of the M4 Pro chip, the design... The power button is strangely located and storage capacity is a little limited, but with the addition of a suitable hub you gain access to the switch and an M2 SSD extension (in addition to the various connectors).
In short, there's nothing missing, and this Mac mini, which almost fits in your pocket, starts up in 5 seconds, and then runs the biggest applications silently and without flinching.
I also appreciated the advice given by the sales staff (on the question of displays and monitors) on how to design a setup that would suit the Apple ecosystem, my needs and my budget...
I've just got it and it's already the best compared to my old mac which ram easily, easy installation and practical with its small size.
Fast and efficient for all specific non-professional tasks.
On/off button poorly positioned on the underside of the device. Corrected with the addition of a Satechi docking station for Mac mini.
Only USB C sockets. Corrected with the same docking station.
This Mac mini works like a Mac is supposed to.
But it doesn't!
The USB ports on the front panel failed just a few weeks after delivery. The after-sales service tells me that the diagnosis requires a week's downtime. As I'm a teacher and graphic designer, and this Mac is my work tool, you can imagine how embarrassed I am.
Very fast and well packaged thank you and it would be great to win me a switch 2 for this com :) see you soon
