    Do the job

Very robust processor. Delivers on its promises, both in everyday use and when performing more demanding tasks. Performance is excellent, responsiveness is superb, and it handles multitasking, gaming and content creation with ease.

The frequency boost up to 5.5 GHz is clearly noticeable, with good overall stability. Combined with good cooling, it remains under control in terms of temperature and offers a comfortable margin to exploit its full potential.

In summary: reliable, powerful, versatile. It's not quiet, but it gets the job done — and it does it well.

    Valuable advice

He got me to rethink my composition because some of the pieces were too expensive and recommended better, cheaper ones. Thank you for the savings!

    Good value for money

I had my doubts about the performance of the E-cores, but to be honest they're really not bad. When compiling a project, I get 5.12s for all cores combined, 9.3 just with the 8 P-cores, 8.2 just with the E-cores. So here, 12 E-cores at 4.6 GHz are a bit faster than 8 P-cores at 5.4 and 5.5 GHz.

On the other hand, I really don't see the point in paying almost double for the 285K to get just 33% more E-cores! So I think this CPU is a good compromise for those who want modern cores.

What's more, I've fitted a Dark Rock Pro 5 bequiet on it, and it hardly ever runs, especially as idle intels don't really consume anything (that's why I wanted to stick with an intel). It's just what I was looking for in terms of silence.
