I bought this Lenovo PC at the end of 2024 because it can easily be upgraded by increasing the RAM, and adding an extra hard drive, which is not common on a rather slim laptop at less than 1000 €.
The screen is excellent, and the backlit keyboard very useful. As it's a 16", there's room for a numeric keypad, which is great for speeding up number entry.
I previously had an ASUS pro on which I swapped the mechanical HDD for an SSD, upgraded the RAM, and replaced the internal CD drive with a 2nd SSD. The battery connection failed after 12 years of loyal service.
I hope to keep this thinkbook that long.
