I have to install irst to install windows 10 or 11. I remove 1 star because of the problem of the wifi network card which bugs after the installation of windows. I have to install the wifi card manually to fix this problem otherwise you will not have wifi.
I think this pc is beautiful. I play almost all my games on ultra. No fps drop. It remains to be seen if this will last for long but I hope it will stay with me as long as my old pc (7 years)
- Robust looking laptop, nice keyboard, sends a bit of hot air on the mouse side if you are right handed
- Runs on Linux but needs a recent distribution. 100% OK with Debian 11, bullseye-backports repository needed to have the right drivers and kernel. You need the Linux kernel 5.15 for the Wifi and the non free nvidia 470 drivers for the graphic part.
I bought this PC to play video games occasionally.
It works perfectly and I was pleasantly surprised by the design, which is not bad at all. It doesn't heat up too much and doesn't make too much noise, even though some games are quite demanding (God of War, Jedi Fallen Order...).
It is supplied without operating system and the installation of Windows took a little time (driver problem, I found the solution on the ASUS website: https://www.asus.com/fr/support/FAQ/1044458/)
I am delighted with my purchase, it is an excellent value for money.
So far I am very happy with my purchase, it meets my needs as a casual gamer and allows me to enjoy the power on the TV.
It remains to be seen how it will hold up over time.
Having had this pc for a month now, here is a little feedback on this product:
The case is solid, sober with just the backlit keyboard. The laptop is not too heavy and compact for a 15" laptop. I find the plastic is a bit too present however this plastic is well made and should last a long time.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the SSD or not, but it's a good idea to use the SSD for a good game.

If you want to put a second SSD, buy a heatsink (low profile 5 min max height): The second port being quite close to the proco it heats up too much without a heatsink.
For the installation of the OS a small manipulation is to be envisaged for win 10 because of the processor intel 11 but nothing complicated (https://www.asus.com/fr/support/FAQ/1044458/ ).
I'm sure it will be a good laptop for the next few years, both in terms of quality and power.
