    A sustainable purchase (or so I hope)

    I can see the difference compared to my old 22" TV monitor... I wanted to buy a Viewsonic because I trust it. I've been using one every day for over 15 years and (wait, I'm checking) I don't see any dead pixels.
    In the size I was interested in, I found this 21:9 model. I wasn't up for it, but I don't regret it: cinemascope films are much more pleasant to watch this way (from a distance of 2 m as far as I'm concerned).
    The controls are well designed (5 buttons at the bottom of the screen). It can be controlled using the free ddcui tool.
    Finally, and this is not often the case I find, the sound is very satisfactory. I'm happy to use them for ordinary programmes, but I switch to larger speakers for films and music.
